For some time the light through trees had attracted me, and recently light at the end of a tunnel seems to have become a recurring motif. Roots, trees, light… What better place to explore these themes than West Dorset where we live on the edge of Powerstock Common, an ancient- almost primeval- woodland where Athelstan and later King John hunted. ?
