It has taken me five years to feel ready to paint this ancient, mysterious landscape, but they have been five years in which its quiet beauty has become more and more compelling. The Dorset Spring paintings represent a start and I hope there will soon be many more as spring blossoms into summer and summer gives way to Autumn...
Meantime, most of my other landscapes have been painted whilst on holiday in Devon, France and Greece.
