Strolling amongst abandoned kasbahs and ksour near Skoura in the Valley of the Dades, equipped with my sketching things.
Incidently, many of these old pise buildings are now being restored to their former glory.

The backdrop of the High Atlas was lost in the heat haze that morning in October 2005, but can dimly be sensed in line with the top of the tallest palm trees.
